I have used my recently purchased variant Fisher Cats in these photos to show case the room. Lauren Fisher definitely likes her new pretty, pink bedroom!
Hello all! This review is a bit late but I was sent the “Girl’s Bedroom Set” released within the last few years by Epoch. I was sent this item to review by the company as a member of their “Friends of Sylvanian Families”. Please note that although this item was sent for me to review, all opinions given about the product are my own and not official, nor first checked by Epoch. The packaging allows you to see the contents of the cute bedroom set, which will encourage people to buy it, however makes the box bulkier to carry. On the sides of the box there are images of other room sets that can be used to make up the contents of a larger house such as Beechwood Hall. The back of the box has an image of much of the current critter range. When I opened the lid of the box I was happy with the detail presented on the inside flaps of the lid; instructions state how to piece together various items within the different room sets. For this bedroom set the instructions explain how to put the calendar (made of a foldable sticker) together and how to attach the book covers (also stickers) to the books. When I removed the outer packaging to reveal the contents you can see the plastic is carefully moulded to keep the contents in place. There is also a detailed backdrop of a room’s walls and flooring which I think is very aesthetically pleasing. I removed the contents from the packaging to get a much closer look at the furniture included. A desk and chair, piano with stool, a bed with all the bedding (which were in a protective plastic seal that I removed), a set of girl’s pyjamas which are kept in shape around a body-shaped piece of cardboard, two books, a model house, a bin and a lamp, along with the sticker sheet. Next I used the instructions provided to put the calendar together. I personally found this quite easy: the main step involves folding down the main line indented in the sticker to allow both halves to stick together, followed by folding the smaller sections and sticking the little tab on the top of the sticker to the inside bottom section of the same sticker, yet this would be a bit tricky for a child so I would recommend an adult doing this to prevent it going wrong. Sticking the book covers on was much quicker and easier but I maintain that an adult does this for a child. The detail on the calendar is very cute; I love the little class schedule! I am unsure why the 15th and 23rd of September are printed in orange when the other days in orange are just Sundays. I used Rose Cottage as an example home for the Girl’s Bedroom. There is enough space for all the items to go in the house and various layouts can be used, however I have only pictured one. All the items with their matching colour scheme fit well and make a brilliant set for younger and older collectors alike. I personally feel the only thing missing from this set is the music sheet for the piano that has been included with dozens of previous Sylvanian Families pianos. As there is a space for the sheet music on the piano it seems a shame that it is not included, especially as it is in all the promotional images for the set. Moreover, comparing the price of different bedroom sets on offer in the current range, it seems that many sets of the same price (RTP £22.99) have many more items included in the set, for example the Flair-released “Sister’s Bedroom” containing over 30 pieces. I feel the price should reflect what is included in the set and thus contain more pieces such as hair brushes, clocks, perfumes and school-related items such as pencil cases containing erasers and pencils, globes and flutes which have all been in numerous other products released by Flair and Epoch alike. As a gift this set is well-designed for the younger children who may lose smaller items in play. I have used my recently purchased variant Fisher Cats in these photos to show case the room. Lauren Fisher definitely likes her new pretty, pink bedroom! Overall I really love this adorable set! The pieces are colour coordinated so they will all fit well together; the set is able to fit into many different houses and can mixed and matched with pieces from other sets if you feel other items are needed to finish decorating the room!

I come across to your blog and found about Sylvanian toys. Oh ... those Girl's bedroom set so adorable and cute. I love that. I also have Sylvanian sister bedroom set that I got from webstore at https://www.tinkerbelltoys.nl/brands/sylvanian-families/. The price was around 29 euros containing more than 30 items. They have some collections that so adorable and cute. I can't wait to hunting another collection at Tinkerbell Toys. One of them is Sylvanian Seaside Restaurant.
